10000 bêta-testeurs pour éviter un wipe

Atlantica Online, le dernier MMORPG du studio coréen nDOORS qui a entre autre publié GoonZu Online, est en phase de bêta-test fermé depuis le 18 juillet dernier. Cette phase devrait s'achever ce dimanche pour laisser place assez rapidement à une bêta ouverte (des rumeurs parlent d'une semaine plus tard mais elles n'ont pas été confirmées par NDoors).

Une remise à zéro de tous les comptes (un wipe) est comme souvent dans cette situation prévu. Ndoors a néanmoins fait savoir à ses bêta-testeurs que s'ils arrivaient à convaincre 10 000 joueurs supplémentaires de s'inscrire à la bêta fermée avant le 28 juillet, 23 heures PDT, le wipe n'aurait pas lieu ; tous les bêta-testeurs pourraient alors conserver leurs personnages pendant la bêta ouverte.

Atlantica Online est un jeu de rôle massivement multijoueur avec un gameplay en tour par tour, un artisanat qui se veut développé et une gestion des guildes qui s'annonce comme assez avancé (prises de villes, fondation de nations, etc.).

Si vous souhaitez aider les bêta-testeurs d'Atlantica Online à conserver leurs personnages ou, mieux, si vous souhaitez tester ce nouveau MMORPG, vous pouvez obtenir une clef d'accès à la bêta fermée à partir du site officiel.

To all of you participating in the closed beta, we want to say thank you for being part of the Atlantica Online experience. You are instrumental in making Atlantica a better game as we prepare to move into the open beta phase.

But there’s even more you can do to better this community now. We need more players testing the closed beta, helping us to rid the game of bugs and therefore improving the Atlantica experience for everyone.

Or take part in the “My Atlantica Adventure” event, posting a review of the game on a games website or on your Facebook, MySpace or other social network page, which gives you a shot at winning a 2 GB USB Flash drive. If 10,000 new players come on board for the closed beta before July 28, 11 p.m. PDT, there will be a reward for your recruiting efforts: You save your character and all his or her mercenary friends from the digital graveyard. That’s right, all players will keep their characters, preserving them from being wiped out for the open beta. So all the hours you put in to level up and amass all sorts of goodies during the closed beta won’t have gone to waste. No need to restart your journey toward Atlantis.

It will take the Atlantica village to raise the number of players children and adults by 10,000. Won’t you help the Atlantica community? Won’t you help yourself?
